When you first started thinking about bringing home a new puppy, you were probably thinking about how cute it will be and how fun it will be to play with. Most people tend to forget about the seriousness of bringing a new puppy home because if left unattended and untrained, a little puppy can completely destroy your carpets, your furniture and the rest of your lovely home.

But it is time for reality to butt in and hopefully that happens sooner than later but of course, if anything, stepping in a pile of puppy droppings will surely make you alert. Now you can see that you must start some Poodle paper training before the situation gets completely out of control and your floors are ruined. Even though your puppy will be sorry, they cannot afford to replace your carpets that cost a few thousand dollars so that will be completely on you.

Now of course you have come to a point that you know that proper Poodle paper training is needed and that is either because you have read some dog training books that suggested it or you stepped in something that was not so nice and pleasant. Either way, it is better late then never when it comes to Poodle training, as you cannot allow your puppy to rule over you and the house.

Almost every single pet supply store you walk into and almost all department stores will sell pee pads in their dog supply department. These pads are specially scented to attract your puppy to them so you should not have a lot of problems getting them to use the pads.

Also, they are scented with a special scent that will attract the puppy to the pad so then they will naturally go potty there instead of on your carpet.

Now that you have the pee pads home, you are ready to begin your Poodle paper training. First, you need to see where your puppy normally goes and then you should decide where you would prefer them to go. In the beginning, you will want to lay down a few of the pee pads right in the area where he or she normally goes so they can discover it and start to make use out of it.

Once they have been using the pee pads for a few days, it is time to start moving the pee pad in the direction of where you ultimately want it to end up.

This would completely defeat the purpose and you would be starting over again from scratch, which would not be fun at all. If moved slowly this approached can also teach your Poodle to go potty outside.
