Breed Description

The Ibizan Hound is a deer-like agile dog of the hound group. This elegant breed with remarkable outline may range in weight from 45-65 pounds, and averages in height between 24-29 inches.

Coat

The Ibizan Hound has two types of coat namely: Short, and Wired. The short-haired has the shortest hair on the ears and head, and lengthiest under the tail and back of the thighs. The Wire-haired can be between 1-3 inches long, possibly with thick moustache. There is a lot more fur on the back of the thighs, back, and tail. Both varieties of coat are hard, and neither is more preferable to the other. Their coat color comes in red or white, solid or in any mixture.

The Ibizan Hound originated many hundreds of years ago in the Balaeric Island of Ibiza off of the coast of Spain. Used for lure coursing and hunting rabbits, this athletic dog breed also makes a good and quiet house pet. The Ibizan Hound is an athletic, gently, loyal, and even-tempered watchdog. Some may be a bit timid around strangers but they can warm up easily to other pets and humans once they become acquainted to them. The Ibizan Hound dog breed makes an excellent companion for those are active, outdoor enthusiasts, families with children, singles, and even experienced dog owners.

or would it be far better to just elevate her in? Because i dont want her to hurt her back again on the leap from the ramp into the automobile or anything at all.Thank you.
