Odorless Dog Breeds
For those of you who just can’t stand the smell of dogs, here’s a brief list of so-called “odorless dogs”. (No guarantees 
Basenjis, the “barkless” dogs, are odorless dogs that are light shedders, making them perfect companions for those with allergies. They are well know for their yodeling sound rather than the sharp barking sound made by other dogs. So, I guess you could consider them quiet too.
Silky Terriers are small, relatively odorless dogs that shed no fur and make great indoor pets. They do not shed like other dogs, but their long fur is prone to tangles, so Silkies have to be groomed regularly.
A very clean, virtually odorless dog, the Siberian Husky has a dense, but soft outercoat and a thick, downy undercoat. Although known as a sled dog in arctic regions, with proper care and a home with people they love (and exercise!!), Siberian Huskies can be happy and healthy living in Florida as well as in Alaska.
Similarly, the Alaskan Malamute is a clean and odorless dog that rarely requires bathing because it has a coat that readily sheds dirt on its own. These dogs love to be with people, make wonderful companions, and do well with children.
The dachshund is known as an odorless dog. They actually come in many different “flavors” - smooth-haired, wire-haired, and log-haired; and numerous colors.
The Havanese is an adorable non-shedding and odorless dog and can brag about being the Cuban National dog breed. They are also considered a “hypo-allergenic” dogs. The coat of a Havanese should be brushed, at least, three times a week, if not more often, to keep it looking healthy and to avoid mats. The Havanese is considered a toy dog, even though it is not fragile.
The Papillon has a silky, long, fine, flowing coat without an undercoat. It is considered an *almost* odorless dog, but needs regular brushing to avoid mats and tangles.
The short coat and the lack of body fat of the Greyhound makes for a near odorless dog and minimal shedding. They are clean, gentle, good natured dogs who get along with other animals and children. Owners say that Italian Greyhounds are very easy to care for, making them an ideal companion.
