Don't get me wrong - I always leave water out for her, but I find that if we go on an hour's walk in the summer she doesn't drink water when I offer it to her. She waits until later. Perhaps it's because the breed is from Mexico! I especially agree with the idea that chihuahuas are dogs and not accessories - if you want to buy a dog, treat it like a dog! If chihuahuas are not socialized properly with both humans and other dogs they can become fearful and aggressive.
