Dog reunited with owner (Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office)
A dog found guarding a deceased body on Monday among the rubble of tornado-ravaged Moore, Okla., has been reunited with its owner.
When a deputy from the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office found the dog, now known as Susie, guarding a body inside a house, he assumed she was protecting her owner. He posted a photo of the loyal pet on Twitter and Facebook with the caption, “Scared, but this little pup survived.”

Breed Description
The Lowchen is a non-sporting breed that was once a valued companion of the European noblemen. The name of this breed literally translates “Little Lion” in German. This Bichon type dog weighs an average between 9-18 pounds, and stands from 10-13 inches tall.
Coat
The coat of the Lowchen is silky and soft. They are usually trimmed to look like a lion. Their coats are not thin and fluffy, but rather wavy with a combination of thick hair among the finer ones. This permits a flowing coat that is never frizzy. They come in all colors, brown included.
A puppy whose known nothing but a life of abuse is looking for a new home.
Amy Moulton was painting a house Thursday morning when a puppy named Nino ran up and sat down at her feet.
“I was just kind of looking around, looking for a possible owner and I noticed some wounds on his face,” Moulton said. “I knew something was up with this dog.”
The dog’s owner then approached Moulton and started complaining about Nino and yelling at him.
