Do The Dog Collars That Stop Dogs From Barking With Sound Realy Work?

I want a dog collar that could stop my dog barking buy. There are these dog collars that are on eBay with a few dogs barking sound that only dogs can hear to stop. If you have any experience with these collars and know if they work or not please reply.

I think ur dog would be safer if u took him to a dog trainer. Shocking an animal, especially ur pet, borders on cruelty.
I`ve heard of shock collars, but never one that stops barking by sound. So be sure u know what ur getting. It`s a dogs nature to bark and often a life saving feature for their masters
(fire, intruders, thieves) so I`m sure u don`t want to quiet his barking 24/7. A knowledgeable trainer might be the perfect solution. Good luck.
Yes, they do..The one who mentioned sores on the skin was an electric collar, not a sonic (high pitched buzz) one. . I used one for a very traumatized rescued dog, that just couldn’t stop barking..She quit within a couple of days, and I took the collar off after less than two weeks..I have loaned it to many friends, as well.
It didn’t harm the dog in any way. She is curled here at my feet 10 years later..and only barks if a stranger is here..
I got mine at Walmart..They currently run $32.
There are several different brands out there, and the one that I bought, both the dog and human could hear the noise when the dog barked. It was a good tool to get the dog to learn not to bark. I also have the same type of device that you can mount on a wall or fence and get the neighbors dogs to stop barking. My friend bought one for his dog and after one weekend the dog had big bleeding sores where the electrodes made contact with his skin. It was really sad.
yes they do. i have one for my dog and when i put it on him he doesnt bark. the first ten times i put it on him, i felt bad, but hes never showed any signs of pain so i think that the shock isnt that bad. you can get shock collars at petco and petsmart.
A Friend of mine used a collar that at the first bark emitted a high pitch sound then it gave the dog an electroshock, I tried it on my arm and it wasn’t a pleasant sensation, but it did not hurt bad. The dog associates the sound with the shock an hopefully stops barking.
