The handle makes it easy to use. Wished the nubs were alittle softer, but overall good product

I love the furminator, so I thought I’d give this a try. I have an 80 lb. German Shepherd who lives indoors with us and sheds a lot. I also have one medium sized name brand furminator and one large “bamboo” furminator knock off for the dog and my two cats. Depending on the season, the amount of hair that comes off of the dog during a bath can vary greatly. I used this in her last bath a few days ago. It was fine. I didn’t think I got much more sudsing/lathering action out of it. A decent amount of hair accumulated between the nubs. I’m just not sure if more came out than I would have gotten otherwise. Since this is not too costly, I think it’s worth a shot because it probably does help get at least a little more hair out of the dog during the bath. I do think I would avoid using this on long haired dogs as I think this would just create knotting, unless you use it during a cream rinse/conditioning stage of the bath where knots come out easily. The dog didn’t seem to mind it, although I would avoid pushing too hard or staying in one spot to long to avoid irritation. Overall, not bad, can’t hurt, but if you don’t already have a furminator or similar product, I’d put my money toward that first.

My sister has an extremely hairy dog whose shedding she has I hard time keeping under control. I gave this to her, and I have heard nothing but good things. She says her dog loves it and it has really helped control the shedding. Seems like a great tool!
